Time is a circle
Surrounded by a growing hurricane
And we are in the eye of it
The experts all say that
Things will get much worse before they get better.
I believe them
I don’t know how I am going to keep
Everyone I love safe
Or if I can
Or what safe even means
But I am going to try
I will…
Own my anxiety
Own my voice
Own my love
Own my life
And I am not giving any of them up
Without a fight.
