Review of When Love Came Calling book by Preeti Shenoy
When Love Came Calling novel by Preeti Shenoy is a story of love and discovery. The main characters of the book are Puja and Arush, aged 19 and 20, respectively.
Puja believes that life is a very complicated thing which has been figured out only by a few of the super achievers in the world. She has a strict mother who tells Puja to spend the summer holidays at a village in Kerala doing some voluntary work. She meets Arush there.
Arush has been raised in Britain who comes to India for a dozen weeks to explore the country of his belonging. Arush and Puja are very different from each other. But since they don’t have access to the internet in that area and nothing else to do, they start getting in touch with each other and fall in love.

But falling in love is one thing and staying in love is another.
They have to fall apart as Puja has to face the difficult realities of life, whereas Arush never imagined India to be the perfect country for him. What will happen to their love?
