“The tragedy of life is not death but what we let die inside of us while we live.”
― Norman Cousins
Loneliness kills people from within. It is like living a robotic life with cosmetic laughs.
It is not any sickness, but a feeling, bad enough to destroy a life.
It could be felt in different ways, like being at a place where you don’t fit, not finding what you have been longing for, or having the pain of losing a close person.
It is not too easy to be alone. You have to struggle a lot to overcome the isolation which is taking a toll on your inner peace.
Sometimes, you don’t even know what is making you sad and that feeling of emptiness makes things more miserable.
Like a ship without a compass that does not know where the path leads, with storms startling and waves bumping it, aloneness is bloodcurdling.
It is throwing stones into clear water that creates disturbances called ripples.
But, if a small candle can light up against the huge darkness, why can’t you???
Enjoy your own company to burn your loneliness. Stop comparing yourself with others. Always believe “you are unique”.
Make sure that your life is a choice and not a chance.
Give yourself some time. Especially, during big challenges, no matter what happens.
Do not worry about anything else that is going on.
