The Art of Happiness book by Dalai Lama is the first self-help book that I read in my life. It was in 2014 when I found this book in my college library. The title intrigued me. I picked up this masterpiece and loved the Art of Happiness quotes by Dalai Lama.

This is one of the best self-help books, written with advice from one of the greatest spiritual leaders. The book shows that the aim of human life is to achieve happiness. Whatever we do in life is to find happiness.
Some people also confuse that happiness and pleasure are the same. Dalai Lama has beautifully explained the difference between happiness and pleasure in The Art of Happiness book.
This book can be called a comprehensive guide on how to become happy in life, how to avoid everyday problems, and how to find mental freedom. Dalai Lama and author Howard C. Cutler have done a great job in the book while explaining the main areas of human life and experiences.
While reading the book, I also had a question on why Dalai Lama is one of the best advisors on happiness. And the answer was his photo on the book cover. He is smiling, and his smile holds an aura to make you feel like smiling. People say that whenever or wherever they have seen Dalai Lama, they have found him laughing or smiling all the time.
The Art of Happiness by Dalai Lama book has been narrated in the form of conversations and stories. If you want to read a quality book for self-help, then Art of Happiness is the one to go for.
